Terms of service
These terms cover buying and using a Talkzyo Pro licence. The free plugin is GPL-licensed and its own licence governs it, not this page.
Who you are contracting with
KAINELABS LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales.
- Company number: 12159076
- Registered office: 24-26 Arcadia Avenue, Fin009, London, N3 2JU, United Kingdom
- Incorporated: 15 August 2019
Trading as Talkzyo. References to "we" and "us" below mean KAINELABS LTD.
The free plugin
Talkzyo is released under the GPL. You may use it, modify it and redistribute it on those terms. It carries no warranty, and nothing here adds one.
What a Pro licence gives you
A licence key that unlocks the Pro add-on and access to the hosted realtime service for the term you paid for, together with updates during that term.
Payment
Prices are shown at checkout in the currency you are billed in, and taxes are added where they apply. Payments are taken by Stripe; we never see your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, which you can do at any time from your account.
Refunds
Pro is covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee. The details are on the refunds page, which forms part of these terms.
Your data
Your conversations stay in your own database - we never receive them. What we do collect when you buy from us is set out in the privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Do not resell or redistribute a licence key, and do not use the hosted realtime service to send unlawful content or to attack it. We may suspend a licence that is being used this way, and will tell you why.
Availability
The hosted realtime service is provided as it is. The plugin is built so that if the socket is unavailable, delivery falls back to polling and messages still arrive - so an outage slows the chat down rather than stopping it.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for future purchases. The terms you agreed to when you bought continue to apply to that purchase for its term.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in.
